This cartoon is a reaction to something I’ve noticed since the advent of the “public” pit to car radio… it seems to me that almost ANYTIME a race engineer gets on the blower and tells their driver that they’re on for a possibility of a win, or a podium, or to beat their rival – it is almost a guarantee that they will stay exactly where they are… I wonder why this is?

Bruce, great cartoon as always, but I thought for sure you were going to skewer the infra-cam on DiResta’s car as it crashes on lap one. I bet there was a lot of swearing after that one.
