Got a new sketchbook from Muji which I quite like, craft paper as you can see. Did this sketch of a lovely Ferrari 308 GTB from Italian car Day 2016, but am a little unhappy with it. Love the paper, but I used Payne’s Gray for the tone which was a mistake, and then tried to rescue it by over-rendering it… Ivory Black would have served better if I’d used it sparingly. Ah well – next time.
Still think of Higgins and Magnum every time I see this car! 🙂
