Bentley Speed Six

The inspiration for yesterday’s sketch, this is a blower Bentley, or “Speed Six” – these won the 24 hours of Le mans in 1929 and 1930.

1933 Napier Railton

A quick sketch of a 1933 Napier Railton – this was a “speed record” car – had a W12 engine and made just over 500hp. Very interesting car to draw, especially because of the complex exhaust system. Think I’ll have another go at one of these soon…

This is a sketch that I did from a photo I took in Sinsheim Germany, at the Sinsheim Auto und Technik Museum.
