Another go at getting used to the Wacom interface. I’m generally pleased with the way that this one came out, but would like to “clean these up a bit; that is, rely less on the “sketchiness” and achieve a more “rendered” finish…

Royal Enfield

Another sketch from the Wacom tablet. Still a little shakier than I would like, and I’m still having a little trouble getting used to the parallax issue – but I’m much happier with this than the Datsun…!

A little later than I wanted, but I will use the excuse that our preparations for moving are taking up a great deal of time…
Twenty years on.

20 years. Hard to believe.
This is a painting I did sometime ago – 2002 I think. I’d been planning to do another, but life keeps getting in the way. A sad anniversary.
Moto Guzzi 850 T

In a desperate effort to push the embarrassing Datsun further down the queue I offer this; a Moto Guzzi 850T – sketched and painted for a friend. This is drawn in sharpie and then lightly tinted with thin coats of acrylic.
Embarrassing Datsun…

This is my first go at using a new program and interface (Sketchbook Pro and Wacom Cintiq) and the results are… well… you can see it… ! I stopped myself at 3 hours of work on this… and was tempted to improve it through photoshop but resisted the urge.
I find it astonishing that I could use such a modern program and interface and come up with an image that looks so dated! 🙂 Oh well. Will be trying more experiments with this program to familiarize myself with it. It’s a steep learning curve, but I do enjoy the pen/tablet interface.
